Details about the entry requirements for our 'Jazzing Up Junk' competition

This term we look at the Primary Science Quality Mark as a way to put the spark back into primary science, and showcase some entries to the Ecology competition.

In this issue we investigate how water gets from the soil to the top of a plant, solar kits for learning about electricity and renewable energy, and launch the 'Falling seeds and biscuits' Primary Competition. In this special 20th anniversary edition we examine the qualifications needed for teaching Food Technology, provide hints and tips for growing seeds and share an exciting idea sent to us by a school for teaching children about the skeleton using dog biscuits.
